  • I'm wondering if any owners of the Jaguar c-x75 R3 might chime in with advice/opinions. I'm three tiers into the championship series to win the car, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine. It handles tight, which is my preference, it looks slick, and it has incredible grip. I really, really want this car, but the cost to upgrade it enough to make it through the championship is steep. Any opinions on the return on investment? Is it worth the time and cost?

You may want to check HERE, probably others talking about the same thing.

ROI on this is horrible! There is none. You'll never got close to making the gold back by owning it. LMP1 cars, Ferrari FXX K and a few others have great farming races. This one is right up there with the Ferrari Enzo as far as bad cost vs. return.

In the end it all depends on where you are at in the game and what your goals are. I was 100% done prior to this update, so I go for every car. This one makes me mad though. WAY to expensive for an Elite car!

    • 9 tiers in myself, it really does seem like a great ride

I'm figuring about 290 net GC spend, including 75% completion of the bonus series

Whether it's worth it or not depends on your goals and where you are in the game. I've got a decent stash and have met most of my goals, so this car is making sense to me. But back when I was progressing through the career I focused on that and would have skipped this car. If you want a full garage, better get the car now. I don't think there's a general answer to your question, but 290GC for a nicely upgraded car with this performance is pretty cheap.

    • Thanks everyone, for your input. It seems to me like the net GC spend for the LTS makes it worthwhile. The base cost for the car is 900 GC, so if I can get it for less than half that, plus a little R$ (which is easy to recoup), I think I'm gonna play it through. This really is one of the best cars from a grip and handling standpoint that I've encountered. It's a magnificent car.

    • I agree the car is somehow cool and I already done 21 upgrades and 50%, so I'm on to it. But the handing is not terrible (because I like slippery cars) but I don't find it tight. My car is PR 90.5 but I can't feel it close to P1 GTR for example, top speed is there but breaks and handing is poor.

    • If you like the game and you are planning to stay with it for longer, you will come to the point where your goal will be to have all cars. Opportunity to get this car so cheap, isn't likely to repeat. It depends on your current reserve of GC, but I would recommend to go for it. Also I have a hunch this car might appear as top car in WTT, it has high PR, higher then some of the legend cars.

    • The comment above is correct, I ignored many cars over the time I've played and am now regretting it because now I do want to get them

I agree. Althought I'll get this car to increase my garage (180 including it), its far from P1 GTR, or MP4-X.

    • The brakes stats on this car are very good, and my sense of braking performance is that it's pretty good at 1111111

    • This car suits my less than precise driving style perfectly :))

    • I had not planned on getting this car, and instead planned to conserve GC for some of the other events in the release.  I figured I'd race it through a few tiers to see what it felt like and maybe grab the initial GC.

But once I started driving it I couldn't stop ! -- it feels so well-balanced, is fun to race, and looks outstanding (love its design lines & that matte black finish).  So I'm all in now..will win the car and be glad I did.

As to the original Q regarding return on investment: it's certainly a loss as far as "profit/loss", as are most of the cool cars in the game.  But from a pure "racing fun" perspective, I say it's a WIN.  Good Luck with your decision!
