    • Yeah this sucks a bit

    • I didn't even get the reward screen. It went straight to the tracks screen. No gold.

    • wow, you're right. I could have sworn it was still showing the double GC a few minutes ago when I completed some Laguna times. Bummer.

    • With the cars they've been running I couldn't get gold lately anyway.  I missed 100 gold by .6 seconds today.  Didn't have time to try a few upgrades today.  Maybe I will get the 50 next time.  100 would still be more incentive though.  Change it back!

    • To add insult to injury, the App crashed on me, a second after I got my reward of 100 GC (first time I reached group C). The reward was gone when the App reloaded. Submitted a ticket, not hopeful. Might retire from WTT!

    • You guys are out of luck; I still see 100 for group C and 200 for group B this week. It's probably a regional thing again.

Nah, just kidding; I also see 50 for C, 100 for B and 300 for A. As someone says above, good things don't last. Bummer.

    • Well, it was enough of an incentive for me to spend some precious GC on some upgrades I'd not have done otherwise. Not to mention another ~hour or so of track time. Obviously I played right into their calculating devious little hands. bad monkeys, bad monkeys. LOL

    • Yeah I spent gold preparing for future arrivals in weekly, I even spent on the last upgrade for the Lotus 125 too and spent ages getting better times, now I'm not that interested in trying anymore, I'm in rank C now 1 second away from B but it's only +50 on what I'll get for staying where I am

The hours of track time and the frustration that goes with it is not really worth the payout now, I think I'll only do a few laps for each new stage and move on to other areas of the game, looks like the quest for gold has lost it's touch, more of a medusa than midas

    • No doubt there's a monkey sitting in a cubicle crunching numbers to report to the boss monkeys how doubling the payout effected participation & spending. Cant help but wonder how we did & what it would take to make the higher rewards permanent.

    • A total boycott of it would show them, but how do we get 100,000 people to stop running it (Facebook could be an option)

    • Ladies and gents, I am going to dare to make the following suggestion: Don't be so negative about this return to "normal" WTTT rewards. I suggest we all view the last two weeks as a nice unexpected bonus (for those that made it into Group C or higher). Don't get me wrong - I'd like the double rewards to stay as much as anyone, but viewing what should be a positive (i.e. a bonus for two weeks) as a negative when it reverts is not good for your mental states! Just my tuppence...  :)

    • That's a good point, and there is a possibility that something went wrong with the server side of things causing it to revert

There's been comments on the Facebook RR page so the devs know we're unhappy

As my mum always said when I asked about Christmas presents : You'll get what you're given and like it.  :) I think we drove her to these kinds of answers with our badgering questions

    • I think that monkeys tryied to see if they can attract more people to WTTT. They got my attention allright, too bad i had no Lotus :(

    • I'm consistently in group B for two weeks in a row. But the (small) reward (100GC) is frustrating :( Why not to keep this at 200GC?

Well, Señor Intrépido, that's simple; the monos want to trade your real cash for their virtual coin.
