Goal 1.1: Head To Head, Autodromo Nazionale Monza Junior Course - 2 laps - Win this event - Recommended PR 53.0

Goal 1.2: Cup, Autodromo Nazionale Monza Road Course - 1 lap - Win this event - Recommended PR 53.0

Goal 1.3: Hunter, Autodromo Nazionale Monza Road Course - 1 lap - Win this event with two overtakes - Recommended PR 53.0

Goal 1.3 Hunter-

☀Autodromo Nazionale Monza – Road Course, 1 lap event- 1.1 to 1.2 were just a piece of cake. Just the hunter event (1.3) needs a bit care cause you have to overtake the Nisan twice just before finishing the 1 lap race. Just tik-tok one touch breaking to get behind the Nisan then accelerate.

If racers start with a goal greater than 4.1 miles (est. 6.6 km), they have two opportunities at the long straight on the back side. Three, if you go well past the goal. Continue to follow methods to slow bots down

Goal 5.1: Cup, Nürburgring Müllenbachschliefe 2 laps - Win with the leads of 110 Yards (100 Meters) on any lap - Recommended PR 58.3

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Find a brake point before the first hairpin that allows you to stay inside on the turn, and not hitting the rear of competitors then puts you in 5th place or better after the U. At the sharp turn going over the crossover hill, use first place car as backstop, a bit up the hill, to remain on track. Keep first through crossover. Attain lead of 30 yards or more by apex of second pass through hairpin. Execute the crossover cleanly, then make the last turns and win. Attainable with PR 57.7 10 UG's 1111222. Difficult, but attainable.

User:LoopGuy wrote:

Hardest one (for me) of the day. Agree with above, also, I slid the car sideways through the grass to pass some cars. I ended up barely in 1st after the first lap, and increased my lead during the 2nd lap. Taking out the leader helps if you can do it, otherwise, about 3 seconds ahead gives you enough margin.

Goal 5.2: Elimination, Nürburgring - Tailgate first place within 22 Yards (20 Meters) for 12 seconds and win - Recommended PR 58.8

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Cutting the final chicane gives a margin to accomplish the goal. PR 57.7 UG 1111222 (one gold)

User:LoopGuy wrote:
Staying off the gas at the start helped me go inside the 7th place car. Otherwise, just get to 2nd with enough time to tailgate. I kept hitting the 1st place car, and sort of spinning it, but I slowed down enough to stay just behind it while it recovered and that made my job easier. Once your tailgating is finished, only win by a small margin.

Goal 5.3: Autocross, Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit - Win this event without going off-track - Recommended PR 59.3

User:LoopGuy wrote:
This was an autocross without going off track. It is on the GP circuit. Good luck with those at lower PR, but at 6333232, it was rather easy, so it is certainly doable at lower upgrade levels..

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Breaking earlier than usual before turns to accelerate earlier than usual out of them. Attainable with: 1111222 PR 57.7

Goal 5.4: Cup, Nürburgring Müllenbachschliefe - 3 laps - Win or place at least third and tailgate anyone within 22 Yards (20 Meters) for 35 seconds - Recommended PR 59.7

User:LoopGuy wrote:
This was a 3 lap cup at Müllenbachschleife, finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, tailgate for 35 seconds. There are enough cars in this race that the tailgating takes care of itself, so just get to 3rd and stay there. If you get to 4th and you haven't tailgated enough, either tailgate 4th for a bit or, if 2nd is close by, get to 3rd and tailgate 2nd, then drop back and finish right before 4th. Easy enough at 6333232, probably doable with fewer upgrades.

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Move over to far right early so tapping the car ahead can be avoided. Ninth after the first turn (the hairpin) is a good position. Be in 4th or 5th at the end of the first lap in order to place 3rd. Race clean and fast. A good overtaking turn is the obtuse one just before the sharp turn into the crossover. DO NOT LIFT, but find a good braking point or use opponents as backstop into the crossover. Good thing this goal didn't restrict colliding or touching or skidding or going off track! If you have 3rd position or better before the end of the second lap, block and stop opponents at and in the crossover. Attainable with 1111222 PR 57.7.

Goal 6.1: Cup, Autodromo Nazionale Monza 3 laps - Complete this goal without going off-track - Recommended PR 60.1

LoopGuy wrote:

3 laps at Monza Junior, no off track, win with fastest lap. I crashed into the other cars at the first turn, ended up 6th or so. Worked my way up to 3rd or 2nd by the first lap, but didn't take 1st yet, because I had to do a fastest lap. Also, I was having trouble with braking points into the 1st turn, so I used a car in front to crash into if I left the braking too late. Didn't take 1st until half way through the last lap, which ended up fastest.

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Can be first at the end of the first lap. No off-track makes it difficult to get there. Before first turn, straddle the line on the right. Brake right after the group breaks and stay straddled on the line, until it turns, not tapping the back of other cars. In first, at the end of lap one, make sure the gap to second place is not too large. Then, win fastest lap on lap 2. The close the margin to finish the third lap. Six service bars used. 1132232 PR 59.3

Goal 6.2: Speed Snap, Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Finish within 17 seconds and without skidding - Recommended PR 60.5

LoopGuy wrote:

This is a nasty speed snap in 17 seconds, no skidding. You can cut the chicane, but it took me like 10 tries to get it under 17 seconds. Speed was no problem. In effect, this is almost more an autocross than a speed snap.

Racer KCain10r wrote:
At PR 59.3, not skidding is difficult. Going off-track is not restricted, though. 1-2 service bars. 1132232 PR 59.3, unchanged.

Goal 6.3: Cup, Autodromo Nazionale Monza 1 laps - Drive in opposite direction and finish lap before competitor - Recommended PR 60.9

LoopGuy wrote:

Finish 1 lap backwards at Monza Junior before the La Ferrari finishes it forwards. I did crash into the opponent when I met him, because I was pretty close to my braking point on the back straight, and he wasn't, so both of us slowing down was probably good. I won the first try, and I didn't go back and try it without the crash, so I have no idea for sure, but I suggest trying for the head on collision.

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Have a clean U-turn. Breaking point in Parabolica, after 2nd shadow, halfway between two lines across track. Maybe 3/4 way. Competitor drives on our right side. Brake at the bridge over the track, after meeting the competitor's car on the back straight. 3.5 service bars used. 1132232 PR 59.3 (Unlike LoopGuy, I didn't think about crashing the competitor. I was close on my first attempt, so it didn't come to mind.)

Goal 6.4: Speed Record, Autodromo Nazionale Monza 1 lap - Win this event within 1:40 and without going off-track. No race info. - Recommended PR 61.3

LoopGuy wrote:

This was a speed record in 1 minute 40 seconds, no off track. The time isn't that much of a problem, and if you get a good run off the previous left, right, left, the speed is possible before the last corner. Just don't go off track.

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Time limit prevents U-Turn strategy. Green part of a few important corners is considered on-track. If you're not using the ripple strips to keep your inside tires in, you're not as fast as possible. First turn brake point: second line at the two signs after the building on left. Racing first half of lap careful and clean helps. Making the time limit wasn't the issue for my setup and upgrades. Must be fast through bus stop chicane for the straight after it. Start out careful, then work to be faster. Upgraded to 59.9 and Santos remained the same, 197.35. Once first turn into bus stop is made, press throttle and stay on it through the rest of the chicane. Enter the chicane no less than 99 mph (159kph, calc. by Google). Skidding prevents getting the speed. Then, issue became staying on at the parabolica. 1 try using guard rail to slow put me off-track. As I tried skidding (right) to slow. Hit guard rail (45 degree angle) keeping three tires on-track and bounced back on the track, straightened and no fail banner. LUCKY! Goal attained with 1232232 PR 59.9.

Goal 6.5: Elimination, Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Remain one place away from elimination, then tailgate first place within 22 Yards (20 Meters) for 19 seconds, then win. - Recommended PR 61.7

LoopGuy wrote:

This is an elimination where you have to be next to last, and still tailgate 1st place for 19 seconds. Unless you can do some fancy tailgating or pitting 1st and then dropping back to 3rd or whatever place you need to be, you're going to have 40 seconds, starting when you are in 3rd and 4th place is eliminated, to get to tailgating range of 1st pace, tailgate for 19 seconds, and then pass 2nd to get into 1st.

Racer KCain10r wrote:
Hitting competitor's back, too hard never works, esp. for 6.5. Turns are definitely friends for this goal. The lessons learned in 6.4, help with this goal. Tailgating 19 seconds is a lot, but as noted by LoopGuy above, racers have 40 seconds: passing asap after elimination makes goal attainable. Passing third, quickly after fifth eliminated allows tailgating of first place to start and finish before the apex of parabolica. Be beside and inside of first place for the end of the 19 seconds, then push first place out of the way and pass. Service penalty of 1 mph on top speed did not deter attaining the goal. It was attained with 1232232 PR 59.9 (all races, no assists, sensitivity 10, tilt B, Chase view) UG's are researching for 1333232 for Stage 7.

Keeping eyes on TDF's bonus series I made it 63.3. So all 5 stages are smooth for me. But 6.5 was a test of smart driving skill, not just horsepower. I had be clever to collect few seconds from the 1st and 3rd corner. A 65 PR car can't do it without skills. But Im sure a low PR car can do it just by skills. .

  • 6.4 1st 197.99 v 196.24 mph Ivanov, I had about 5 seconds spare, not enough for a U-turn this time! Used 6 bar of damage.
  • 6.5 1st v Tan was with 5.2, except the 2st place car needs to be tailgated for 10 seconds, picking off the LAFERRARI’s was no problem, I managed to stay side-by-side with the 3rd place car, just behind, until 4th was eliminated, then caught Tan in Roggia chicane, and sat on his bumper until almost the exit of Lesmo, I just passed the bot! used 7 bar of damage, serviced.

Tips

Continue to follow methods to slow bots down

Goal 7.1: Cup, Circuit des 24 Heures 1 laps - Win this event with a lead of at least 350yds (320m) - Recommended PR 62.1

Racer KCain10r wrote: If lap cars are helping to slow the leaders ahead of you, you're too late to make the lead gap. They will help widen the gap, when leading. Be 3rd or 4th in Mulsanne straight. First or Second by second chicane, first before turning back into the morning sun. 50 yd (46 m) lead by the time the Porsche sign is reached, 390yd (357 m) lead into the final two chicanes (cutting them quickly) completes the goal. Almost all service used, if Eric not hired. Attained with 1333232 PR 60.8. (All goals, no assists, sensitivity 10, Tilt B.)

LoopGuy wrote:

If you don't use Eric here, you'll need to service after this or the next one. That said, you'll also need Eric after 7.3, so choose which one you will service afterwards, or pay the gold coin to use him twice.

Jkmoore1120 wrote:

This was not difficult. Single lap around the track. I would say the above post by Racer Cain10r is not completely correct, however. I caught the leader right at the start of the Porsche Curves, just prior to reaching a huge line of older cars, Jaguar E-Type and Shelby Cobras. These held the second place car up enough to get a lead of over 350 yards by the finish line. (3331232 PR 60.7, Steering Off, Low Brakes, Traction on, Tilt B, Sensitivity 6)

Goal 7.2: Autocross, Circuit des 24 Heures - Win this event with an average speed of at least 128 mph (206 kph) - Recommended PR 62.5

Racer KCain10r wrote: Achieve 135 (217-218) by chicane braking point, which might be the middle of the three sets of teepee topped tents. Use light tap on brakes or acc. lift to help turn and be fast in Porsche esses. Straighten out the turns using the ripple strips. Need to keep 129 (206) at least, through the final chicanes. 2.5 service bars used. Attained with 1333232 PR 60.8.

LoopGuy wrote:

Took me about 100 tries with 7333232, but can be done. Along with Racer KCan10r's report, I will add that the last chicane can be straightened out a lot without going off track (much more than the second to last). Experiment with where the true limits are, either in this or in another endurance event. It's faster than I've been driving it when farming. I've definitely had too many bad habits on this portion of the track built up when farming.

Jkmoore1120 wrote:

Difficult challenge for me. I had to retry 5 or 6 times. The number you have to hit is just over 39 seconds. The key is to not lose too much average speed on the Ford Chicanes. Mine dropped from 136 at the braking point to 130 coming out. I very nearly put some more gold upgrades on the car here. (3331232 PR 60.7, Steering Off, Low Brakes, Traction on, Tilt B, Sensitivity 6) (as an aside, I do not understand why they have to give the "average speed" part. Why not simply do a time/distance/speed calculation and have that number be the winning number?)

Had to service here due to all the retries. Watched adverts to speed up.

tehneoeo wrote:

I tried way too many times before coming here. After reading Racer KCain10r, it took me three or four tries. Placed 1st (39.281 s) with 1333232 PR 60.8 (Steering Low, Brakes Off, Traction On, Tilt B, Sensitivity 7). I didn't brake in the esses; just eased up on the gas and ran straight as possible. Go ahead and slow down for the first chicane, just maintain speed from that point on—the second chicane is forgiving. Get on the gas as soon as possible a

Goal 7.3: Endurance, Circuit des 24 Heures - Reach a top speed of at least 210 mph (337 kph) at least three times and hit the 13 mile (20.9 km) point - Recommended PR 62.7

Racer KCain10r wrote: Tips from China that really helped: Achieve 210 mph two times, first time through Mulsanne. Execute 210 - 205 - 210. Minimize damage to front, to be able to get back to achieve the third 210 mph, on Mulsanne the second time. Slide left side into wall. (not front)

My observations: KPH: 337 - 330 - 337, calculated by Google. Make it easy on yourself and time the turn into Mulsanne so there are no endurance cars sharing the road with you. As you are coming back up to 210 mph (337 kph) the second time, aim away from the endurance car waiting in the chicane, (to avoid damage your front). Reversing course takes distance off. If the distance criteria is not achieved when time runs out, coast to the goal in the straight. Do not quit prematurely. Attained with 1333232 PR 60.8.

LoopGuy wrote:

With 7 engine upgrades, I didn't need to slow down into the first chicane, but I did anyway. Achieved goal 3 more times during the lap.

After getting to the required 13 miles and then some, I turned around and drove back to 12.5, and failed the event. Apparently, you have to stay above the goal. You'll need to pass some of the cars before your first speed run, but don't pass all of them as fast as possible, because you will run out of cars and the end of the run. I didn't quite do it this way, but I'd suggest getting full up on time, then saving the other cars for later, slowing down and waiting for the cars ahead of you to clear the turn onto Mulsanne so you have a clear track to get up to the speed goal and back down a few and back up. The second time, you won't have as many cars, so it won't be a problem.

I used Eric here to maintain service, so I didn't have to service again.

Jkmoore1120 wrote:

This was a fairly easy challenge. I hit 210 three times on the first lap. I got the speed on the first and second Mulsanne straits and then the run from the Mulsanne Curve down to Indianapolis. To get 210 on the second Mulsanne straight, however, I turned off assists and ran it deep into the corner; it IS possible to get 210 on that straight and not hit a wall. What I tried to on the first straight was get to 210 mph, pump the brakes, and go back over 210, however, this didn't work either of the times I tried it. I had to run this one twice because I messed up, did a force close to keep from losing service. (3331232 PR 60.7, Steering Off, Low Brakes, Traction on, Tilt B, Sensitivity 6)

Had to service after this one, watched adverts again.

Goal 7.4: Cup, Circuit des 24 Heures & 1 lap - Win this event without going off-track. Limited Fuel - Recommended PR 62.8

Racer KCain10r wrote: Not a full lap. Rolling start before Indianapolis turn. Stay close and pass when first and second slow to go into the final two chicanes. PR/UG same as 7.5 below.

LoopGuy wrote:

I passed the 2nd place car somewhere along the lap, and the 1st place car into the final chicane.

Jkmoore1120 wrote:

Fairly easy. I got into 2nd place on the first of the chicanes, got first on the second chicane, though I was very close to being off-track. I actually though I was going to foul.

Goal 7.5: Cup, Circuit des 24 Heures (Night) 1 lap - Stay in front within 66 yds (60 m) when you first cross the finish line, then finish a lap - Recommended PR No Rec.

Racer KCain10r wrote: Rolling start in final chicanes. Act like you're going to slow the bots, to keep them near, until the Start/Finish line, then finish another lap. Attained with 1333232 PR 60.8.
BACKUP TO CLOUD when you win the car.

LoopGuy wrote:

Just get in front and don't get too far ahead before the finish line. Then enjoy the last lap (although I was tired enough, I just wanted it to end).

Jkmoore1120 wrote:

Very easy. It's a race against 2 Jaguar E-Types. The only difficulty is not jumping on the gas and being too far ahead by the start-finish line. If Goal 7.4 puts you into the red on service, this could easily be won in the red.

Start / End Strategy[]

The player has 7 days to complete the 7 stages, the event is 7 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end # x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straight forward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can continue the following day. The next stage 02, will unlock at midnight providing stage 01 is completed, stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 7, in total there will be 7 x 24 hours = 168 hours to complete all stages.

For example:

Start Sunday @ 7:30 PM the event will end 7 days x 24 hours later, Sunday @ 7:30 PM,

You need to choose the best time for you to start Tour Auto Speciale event, or more importantly when is the best time for you to end the event!

RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
I wouldn't recommend starting the event on the first day, #date#, as many racers, who start as soon as the event opens, complain about bugs, which FM then fix! Instead leave the start a day or two and let other people do the bug testing. Also the tips and details can be filled in by the early adopters, so starting a day or two later gives a better heads up.

Ideally, for racers who are busy Monday to Friday and have the weekend free, the best day and time to start is as late as possible Sunday, as long as it's before midnight, meaning stage 7 of the event can be completed over two days, the following Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately there maybe a short time to start this event! It maybe only open for 5 days, as the next event is expected October 6. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

FAQ[]

How can I service the car when I already finished the day?[]

If the final car service is missed, after the final event on the day, the soonest it can service is at midnight (local time), when the next stage opens.

When is the last time I can start this Event?[]

The countdown is currently in days, Monday September 26 is the likely last day, we will know exactly, when the countdown changes to hours.

The way FM display the date isn't very clear, they use a rounding factor. The days and hours remaining, to start, is changing at mid day or on the half hour. The closing date and time displayed is a cautious closing date and time. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

Will this event be added to the race career?[]

FM went though a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.

Will the car be available to win in the future?[]

The FERRARI F12TDF is available to win if the challenge is completed in 7 days, after September 27 the FERRARI F12TDF can be purchased.

Can I buy the car?[]

The FERRARI F12TDF is available in the bonus series Track Thrillers part of the Elite group. This vehicle was added in the Bathurst Update (v4.6.2) released in September 2016 and can be unlocked by earning ?? trophies in Track Thrillers or by completing the Tour Auto Speciale special event.

This vehicle can be acquired for 720 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted or 576 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted with showcase discount.
