First stage focuses on the LAMBORGHINI Gallardo LP 560-4. It doesn't have too much grip. You should take advantage from its top speed. Try to take all the corners nice and easy, it skids easily. Braking is pretty OK but acceleration isn't good.

Event 1.1: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road course - Win this event

RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
Normally the first day is straight forward, and can be completed without upgrades, I recommend stage 1 upgrades. In these races the player will drive the LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP560-4. The into mentions Monza.

Guillejarque wrote:

Pretty much a ride rather than a race; if you can't get lead by cutting the first chicane, try it in the next one, surely there you will find the first place.

Event 1.2: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Juniour course - Finish any lap with an average speed of 100 mph (160 kph)

RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
There is nothing about winning, so just cross the line with an average 100 mph (160 kph) speed, if the average is high slow down on the finish straight.

Guillejarque wrote:

You can try to stick behind some bot with your pace at Parabolica and then full throttle in the straight. Corners 1, 2& 3 are kinda difficult, the perfect racing line is inside-outside-inside.

Event 1.3: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road course - Win this event

RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
Into mentions racing against a DODGE VIPER SRT10 COUPE, an inferior car, remember to win by a small margin.

  • 5.3.3 1st 4:29 v 4:30 Michael, using LAMBORGHINI HURACÁN LP 610-4, easy once more, passed Michael in turn 1, then parked up for 20 seconds, ran around maintaining a small lead, used free engineer so condition maintained, used 0 bar of damage, 11 remaining.
  1. I messed up the 1st run, time holding up the bots to much, reached 1:20 on the finish straight, instant red flag, used 3 bar of damage, cloud restored.
  2. 1st 3:51 v 3:53 Finn Martyn, different tactics, raced off and waited by the line so I could be close to 1:20, used 10 bar of damage, 0 remaining.
  1. 1st 151kph 3:40, very close, try again.
  2. 1st 3:39 v 3:52 Michael, this time nailed well over 152kph, slowed by on the finish straight to cross exactly 152 race average, no sign of the bots, car was already trashed, so used 0 bar of damage, serviced.

I chose the Short Circuit , Target time for Autocross was 31 Seconds which is easy , the tricky bit was to slow down to less than 20 mph at the finish line . I choose to brake at the end instead of stop as accelerate as the HURACÁN’s acceleration is crazy fast. Manual accelerate may help for this race. I finsihed in 29 secs and crossed at less than 15 mph.

Virags wrote:
HURACÁN [R$ Upgrades only (PR 56.3)] - 6 Laps - Monza Jnr - Fame - 2,200 - R$- 14,590

This stage is much tougher than earlier stages. I had to quit & retry 4- 5 times. I would say this is the second most difficult race of Stage 07 after 7.4 because you can quit and retry the cup to slow the bots down which helps in winning the race. If you are not in the top 5 by the first straight in lap one, I would suggest restarting as top bots would pull away from you on the straights. The top bots do lap the other opponents in the last lap so they slow down giving you a chance to overtake them in the last lap.

Me 4.40.989 vs H Lavell 4.41.214 -Pitted Fyn Martyn ( he is a pain BOT), Car condition maintained since I had free engineer.

Event 7.2 - Win one of these events

I chose the Autocross. Easiest race of Stage 07.

Me 17.673 vs Target 18.845. Lost 1 bar of service.

Virags wrote:
Choice of Gallardo/Gallardo GT3/ HURACÁN - 3 Laps - Monza - Fame - ? - R$- ?

Tilt B is mandatory for this race and I am beginning to hate FM forcing the control types on you now. Finish the race before you run out of fuel. I chose the Gallardo because it has better fuel economy (just kidding). I used the GT3 (PR 56.2) and had lot of fuel left when I finished the race but used up all bars of the GT3. Did not service, all the races after this in Stage 07 are with the HURACÁN. Second easiest race of Stage 07 though I found it tough as am no used to Tilt B.

Me 5.30.749 vs Fyn Martin 5.33.945

Event 7.4: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Junior Course [1 Lap] - Win while achieving a Top Speed of 180 mph (290 kph)

Virags wrote:
HURACÁN [R$ Upgrades only (PR 56.3)] - 1 Lap - Monza - Fame - 400 - R$- 2,555

I found this the most difficult race of Stage 07. Need a top speed of 180 mph in one lap .I tried at least 10 times but always crossed the finish line at an agonizing 179 mph . So I decided to slow the bots down as much as I can , pitted Magnus at the start of the race on first turn , then on the first straight turned of all assists and let the car hit 180 mph and bounced sideways into the wall . The bounce of the wall threw me back near the track where I could make it back in time. Don’t ram the wall head on, ram it sideways.

Me 0.52.505 vs Magnus 0.52.708

GreenSlowPokes wrote:
Just a note of caution: for some of us (me at least using an Ipad2iOS 8.4.1), it is not possible to slow down times by quit/retry as it was in the past. It's strange because I know others can (I've seen them do it on youtube for Event 7.1. Throughout Day 7 events, it was impossible to slow down bot times (yes, I did give up after 40 quit/retries!). So I spent about 120 GC to upgrade, I just barely won this Event 7.4 with 15/28 Upgrades! Then since slowing bots did not work, I was forced to spend 3 x 35 GC just to finish the Event and earn the car. In the end, about 225 GCs for a rather crappy car! Hope you have better luck slowing down the bots!

Event 7.5: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Junior Course [1 Lap] - Win this race while crossing the finish line at no more than 84 mph (136 kph)

Virags wrote:
HURACÁN [R$ Upgrades only (PR 56.3)] - 1 Lap - Monza - Fame - 400 - R$- 2,520

Pitted Magnus at the start and Slowed down at the end to cross at less than 84 mph, I won by less than 50 yards. Lost 3 service bar. I think I had slowed down bots enough in 7.1 and 7.4 so had enough time to brake. Got it in the first try. Third hardest race of Stage 07 after 7.4 and 7.1

Me 0.52.241 vs Magnus 0.52.429

Event 7.6: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road Course [3 Laps] - Win with an average speed of 124 mph (198 kph)

Virags wrote:

I think the final race was relatively easy, I would say in order of difficulty 7.4 > 7.1 > 7.5 > 7.6 > 7.3 > 7.2

I drove normally, no pitting or retrying. First lap was at 124 mph, Second lap was at 125 ,Third Lap at 127 mph . Lost 3 service bar.

Me 5.03.271 vs Magnus 5.11.227

Start / End Strategy[]

The player has 7 days to complete the 7 stages, the event is 7 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end 7 x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straight forward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can continue the following day. The next stage 02, will unlock at midnight providing stage 01 is completed, stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 07, in total there will be 7 x 24 hours = 168 hours to complete all stages.

You need to choose the best time for you to start Ride The Storm event, or more importantly when is the best time for you to end the event!

RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
Ideally, for racers who are busy Monday to Friday and have the weekend free, the best day and time to start is as late as possible Sunday, as long as it's before midnight, meaning stage 7 of the event can be completed over two days, the following Saturday and Sunday. It will be open for 6 weeks, as the next release is expected May 29. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

FAQ[]

How can I service the car when I already finished the day?[]

If the final car service is missed, after the final event on the day, the soonest it can service is at midnight (local time), when the next stage opens.

The Game / Le Mans Keeps crashing[]

When is the last time I can start this Event?[]

The exact date is unknown, probably 7 days before the release is due to end, so May 22, allowing 7 days to run this event.

The way FM display the date isn't very clear, they use a rounding factor. The days and hours remaining, to start, is changing at mid day or on the half hour. The closing date and time displayed is a cautious closing date and time. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

Will this event be added to the race career?[]

FM went though a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.

Will the car be available to win in the future?[]

The LAMBORGHINI HURACÁN LP 610-4 is available to win if the challenge is completed in 7 days, the LAMBORGHINI HURACÁN LP 610-4 is already available to purchase.

Can I buy the car?[]

The LAMBORGHINI HURACÁN LP 610-4 has been added to the International Power-Match series, located in the Elite racing career. It costs 450 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted or 360 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted with showcase discount.
