Rob, would there be an issue of naming and shaming cheats? I would only do it if I could demonstrate that elapsed times were only possible with car data-hacking.It would likely mean I would show the overlay of GG. Im starting to get tired of the same cheats getting away with cheating
Nothing changed in that regard. I don't understand why you would even ask, we don't name cheats or show methods on this wiki. Vague generalizations are accepted but no encouraged. I understand that's like some life mission for you, we wish it wasn't using this platform...So please keep your references vague.
I see your hijack of the Max Level ever reached. has reached its conclusion. What started off as a fun thread has been hijacked and turned into a crusade against hacking. Maybe you can refrain from hijacking threads and be turning them into a one-man cheating spree.
Your thread has been removed. The other admins are asleep, as you know I'm their night shift. Your thread titled
OMP Hot Laps in Hacked DB9
clearly shows a program loading overlay is how you gained a quick lead on OMP. The only reason I didn't ban you right now is because the other admins are not available for consult (however they would not have reversed my decision).
Per the wiki rules and guidelines, we discourage discussion of cheats or hacks, whichever term you want to apply. But outright directions is crossing the line. If you don't change your path, the team will review alternate acions for your participation on this wiki. Clearly you have some positive contributions to make that can help people understand how to play from the front end, right?
Dude, it was a video. It had nothing in it other than an icon that I have already nominated as to what it is previously.
Game Gaurdian is USELESS unless you are told or shown how to use it. Where in the video is even a suggestion as to the how-to? I am more inclined to believe you acted upon a pithy complaint from a butthurt user(like Tin Racer) that wants to cheat for progress and not cheat for the reason I do. If you wish to adopt the head in the sand ideology of the EA forum, that is your choice. I have already made it abundantly clear I will abide by Wiki guidelines. According to Michael, I have not breached the TOS/Rules here.
Please, take this up with Admin ASAP. It was only done to show legit users what they are up against with cheaters.
Exposing the cheating to a wider audience is the ONLY way to get it fixed. Or am I missing something in all this?
P.S. Scroll down and see what Michael had to say on April 4 and point out where " open talk of using hacking tools and passing on information on how to hack " is even remotely seen in the removed thread. MMkay?
The correct forum for spotlighting cheating is EA and FM support reports- not this wiki. The only reason I exercised patience is because that is Michael's lead. As I stated previously, there are already many posts about cheating. Any new post on the topic of CHEATING/HACKING is just a duplicate of what's already available for wiki users to read and also against the established wiki rules (creating new forums on the same subject).
Admins offline have now seen this and are glad I didn't do the ban (this time).
We both have slept on this now, so let's move forward in a new day, OK?
Posting direct methods of cheating RR3 is a violation of wiki rules. Posting the same on a user's wall is easily seen as on an article, as the entire site is archive based, and the activity logs are seen by all (and used). Your post on Drestin's wall has been deleted, and I ask you cease posting comments about how to cheat, as there are already plenty of details in the forums to that end.
Thanks for the welcome. I KNOW some users here will detest my prescence due to the content of my posting about cheating. Although I have nominated what is being used by cheats, I will NOT assume as much to post a tutorial of the "How to Cheat and get away with it". Anyone can contact me via the usual back-channels if they want to use Game Guardian.
I actually joined for several reasons.
1. The EA/RR3 forum does not even allow open about discussion the obvious cheating and I get banned after every post I make. I think the MOD there doesnt grasp what T0R is and ever other thing done to circumvent a ban.FM also seem to be a bit dim with how I can keep playing with all the data I had before I chose to do what I now do.
I give you my word I will behave.
2.I want a sense of how others feel about FM's inaction against the rampant cheating. This forum appears to be well used and read. I like the idea of random posters, as it's similar to 4Chan and /b/rothers
3. Id like to pass on information that may help legit racers do even better.
Im not usually one for MB's generally. My last MB was the old 7WG when I was addicted to DRCE. Ive pretty much gone as far as I can go in DRCE and since my nephew installed RR3 on my device, I cannot stop playing it. Its just sad I am now actively cheating and spreading the word to try get a more lvl playing field.
I actually got warned by one of your Admin today after I posted to another users wall. I didn't realize that what I had posted was so freely seen. I know trolls can be starved into silence, so its no biggy for me. As I said to Powerup77(i think that was their username) I only need to be told something once and I will pay you and your house the same respect as any visitor should and not earn your ire (or any other MOD's/Admin) on purpose.
