The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197) was unveiled on the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show where as production began in 2010. It is the successor of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and the spiritual successor of the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing as the car has been used as inspiration for designing the SLS AMG. It features an M159 6.2L V8 engine. Production ended in 2014. Mark Fetherston designed this car.
