Goal 3.2: Cup at Circuit de Catalunya - GP Circuit [1 lap] - Don't overtake or be overtaken

Paykun asked: I am stuck on 3.2, can any one explain how general one can hold its position?

AlainD974 replied: - Use the Brake pedal

- Stay behind the opponent in front of you (unless you have to:)

- stay right in front of the opponent behind you. Look at its flag (tag name) for that, to know its position on the track. Its flag must remain in the middle of the screen.

LimpingBassoon replied: Learn and remember the bot's racing line and braking points(which are not efficient btw...), and imitate their driving.

If an opponent keeps pushing you from behind, this can be a serious problem at the beginning section of the race. It means that the adaptive difficulty system caught up with your skill and speed. It should eventually happen no matter how good you are, or how good your upgrades are.

I ADVISE : lose on purpose for 2~3 rounds, with big time difference.

50.53.131.82 replied: I used high brake assist which copied pretty much the braking pattern of the bot in front of me. I stayed on his tail, directly behind him. Once you are through the first turn it is easy. Especially after retirering so many times at the first turn because you overtook or were overtaken. Good luck

ConicalFern wrote: 5.2 - not easy but here's how I did it:

- Accelerate just left of the centre. As you approach the corner, you should be to the right of the car (so he is on your left) in 15th and only just be behind him (i.e his nose should only just be in front of yours).

- As you make your way round the corner, there should be space behind the car in 15th for you to tuck in behind him. After that, just maintain your position.

Goal 5.3: Cup at Silverstone - The Grand Prix Circuit [3 lap] - Finish in 13th without going off-track or colliding (with increased top speed, faster acceleration and decreased grip)

ConicalFern wrote: 5.3 did it first time very easily when I tried this technique:

- When the race starts, don't start for around 20s - this means you avoid the chaos at the start of the race

- After around 20s (wait longer if you like), accelerate and very cautiously make your way through the field. The cars are a lot more spread out, even 20s in, so this shouldn't be too hard. You have three laps, so don't take any risks - you're never going to struggle to reach 13th

- After that it's just a case of maintaining your position for a very boring race.

I think I have 3 upgrades, but I feel as though I could have done it without them. Steering assist on low, brake assist off, traction on.

Goal 5.4: Cup at Silverstone - The Grand Prix Circuit [2 lap] - Win this section and lead by 300 yards (274 m) (with increased top speed, faster acceleration and decreased grip)

Almost finished side by side with my opponent on the line, but it can be done with a better margin (I made slight errors at times).

What did it for me was to bypass the last chicane by cutting through the grass, at the end of each lap. Not fair ? Well, that saved me the 25 GC needed to skip the event.

After the race, the car has to be serviced.

Some say 7.2 can be done with an unserviced car... maybe because it has been mightily improved and keeps a raw potential no matter how battered it is. But my car is not upgraded at all => with a top speed of 252 km/h (302 km/h when fully serviced), I am no match for the bot.

Goal 7.2: Head To Head at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Win this event without skidding (with disabled Traction Control)

Goal 8.1: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Perform 15 skids and complete the lap without being overtaken

80.223.141.117 asked: Is there any secret at 8.1 ?

Driving Coach replied: I think I was PR 110 at the time (now 110.9). I took Turn 1 (La Source) agressively and got two skids. Then I raced as hard as I could. No more skids until on the start-finish straight. Then rapid left-right inputs and got the remaining skids is a couple/few of seconds. Then full throttle and across the line. I entered the start-finish straight with a 1,000+ yard lead and cross the line with a 300+ yard lead.

Good luck.

180.182.104.46 replied: Disable traction control.

Backup to the cloud.

Get some practice because the F14-T can really step out compared to most cars.

Restore when you're ready. :)

When I did 8.1, I also had a huge gap by the end. I just did my skids just before the finish line.

50.53.131.82 replied: I agree. Practise at first through the entire track several times so you learn how to skid and where, then restore from cloud and go for the win. I had traction control ON because I always slid way too much. You can do the first slide in the first turn. 4 slides on top of the hill and the in each curve after that. Make sure you build up a big gap or they will get you! The last two can be done easily before the finish or on the finish stretch. Good luck

Goal 8.2: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Win this stint by at least 180 yards (164 m)

Goal 8.3: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [3 laps] - Set the fastest lap time and win this section

Goal 8.4: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Finish at least 10th without colliding (with decreased top speed and less grip)

Goal 8.5: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Hit 190 mph (306kph) two times and finish at least 10th (with decreased top speed and less grip)

the same at the and. drive with Maximum Speed through Blanchimont. nearly when you hit the wall at the bus stop, you can hit 190 mph (306kph) the second time.

when you fail at Eau Rouge, stop the race. (done with all R$ Upgrades, without any Gold Upgrades.)

188.24.56.0 wrote: I've tried 30-40 times 8.5, I have all R$ upgrades, no brakes through Eau Rouge, 291kph, reach 296kph soon after Eau Rouge, but speedo doesn't go over 296, car fully serviced, no touches. One lap I drove all the way to see if I can reach 306kph before finish, and I did 309kph. Didn't even have all R$ upgrades before today, everything was easy. Any thoughts/suggestions?

NO! 8.5 is another P2W goal. With only R$ upgrades you can leave Eau Rouge @296kmph, but will not accelerate any futher on Kimmel and will force to break to Les Combes from 296 TOP SPEED. it is possible thou reach 306kmph before Chicane. Single time Not enough.

Amrosa wrote: The advice about trying to hit 306kph at Eau Rouge is wrong. I have all the R$ Upgrades + (PR: 112 (1123222)) and the car will not go above 296kph, however there are two places where it just hits it if you get a perfect run. All this assumes no Assists or Traction Control.

Spa-Francorchamps of Belgium
  1. Out of Bruxelles (turn 11), start building speed into Pouhon (turn 12). Tap the brakes around the sign near the kerb on the right at the beginning of Pouhon and accelerate from there. Nico Rosberg's Pole Qualifier in 2016 will show you exactly how to do it. you will hit 306kph just before you get to Campus (turn 13). You won't have time to stop or save the turn. Just slide off and slam against the wall. Turn to the right so you slide sideways, that way you will have your nose pointing back towards the road.
  2. The next is the stretch between Stavelot (turn 15) and the Bus Stop Chicane. Once you make the slow right-hander at Stavelot, you are on the throttle flat out the rest of the way. Do not apply brakes entering the turns in Courbe Paul Frère or Bianchimont; the downforce grip will keep you glued to the road. I actually hit 306kph with enough room to easily slowdown and make the turns at the Bus Stop Chicane.

Goal 8.6: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Finish at least 9th without any damage or going off-track

201.94.150.166 wrote: I will share my tactics:

Do the first right turn by outside (in that turn your configuration should be at least with low help with steering and brake, after that you should back to your prefered configuration on pause menu), right after this, you probably will be in 6-8th, let some opponents pass you in the straight but keep a good speed to not be passed by to much opponents, until you reach 9th. So, you will just need to administrate your position until the end: brake hard in the turnings to not hit in the ahead car and by doing so you may hold the behind car a bit (he almost never will hit you) creating a comfortable distance to end the challenge.

Goal 9.2: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Don't get overtaken and win this stint (with unpredictable steering)

188.27.160.96 Asked: I am stuck in the stage 9 - goal 2 of 5 - with the "gremlin" affecting steering. I did two gold upgrades and two more ~200.000 $ are on the way, my PR is 111.3 - normally I can easily win the 1-lap race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps but because of the steering sometimes the car suddenly turns right or left and I hit a side wall. I think I've already reloaded 10 times - this is becoming annoying.

202.3.77.237 replied: Here's what you should do. Turn down the music in the settings. Now you can hear your car well. When the gremlin starts to affect the car, there will be a weird sound from the engine. When that happens, make sure to let go of the throttle for a fraction of second. If you do that, the car will not go sideways. Also, I am not really sure about this but I think the gremlin acts periodically (meaning repeats after a fixed time) so you can even try to predict when the weird sound will come and let go of the throttle accordingly.

89.152.174.64 replied: I passed this goal the first try here´s how:

I drive with no assists and manual acelaration. The trick is easy when ever you hear the "gremlin" take the foot of the gas!! It only steers strangely if you are acelerating. I won with almost 1000m to the 2nd place with wifi on. (probably because im facing very slow bots to get slow bots just lose on purpose a few stages by a long margin this way next time the bots will be slower).

Hope this help´s you.

And the car has already some upgrades. Any help/advice?

AlainD974 replied: I did it without any issue, but I also had a car upgraded to PR 113.

If I remember well, I hit the required speed in

1) 3 - Curva biassono

2) Curva del serraglio

3) between variante ascari (10) and curva parabolica (11). I think that I could also hit it in the last straight finish line.

My car was serviced and set with medium position of the braking help. I left the other help settings high in order to stay on track while driving.

If you can't reach the required speed: or your car is not upgraded enough, or you don't use the optimal curve when turning a corner in order to keep max speed.

Can't you even reach the speed at least once?

2. the straight after the double left turn

3.back straight

4. home straight ( need to brake early & acc early from the last turn)

2 & 3 are simple and you have to nail either of the remaining two. All the best!

Damn, i just complete 10.3 and i have to say - your really must have skills to drive car like this.

My main problem was - i am always skid on last turn (Curva Parabolica) and solution was simple - don't use brake at all. When your enter to Curva Parabolica at 335-340 KPH just release acceleration and ride for about half of this turn. After your pass danger skid part of the turn - press acceleration and hold it till finish.

After the first corner, you might be lucky because 1 of the opponent's car in front of you might crash and leave the track, and there you have it, the 11th without any collision or out of track.

Giurra wrote: TIP 11.3. Relatively easy. Overtake opponents in curves, especially first chicane. Get to the 11th position then start 'choking' opponent behind you as soon as possible. This is what I call slowing opponents in tight turns or whenever possible and making distance between me and the car in front. That way you have some breathing room for easier driving and not think about both car in front and in the back. When enough distance is made just catch the car in the front without fearing the car behind. Best places (I call them 'choking points') on this track are tight turns in the first chicane (Variante del Rettifilio) and second (Variante della Roggia). Next best is Variante Ascari. Other corners can be used also but are not so good for the purpose.

Tips about Scuderia Ferrari Championship (v5.3.0) Stage 12 (Long Shot):

Tips

Continue to follow methods to slow bots down

RR3 Michael P wrote:
Completed day 12, thought it would be more difficult. I didn't even have to repair my car.

PR 110, 10/25, I only paid gold for engine to complete 10.3 - I couldn't manage it without paying gold. It was either 35 gold to skip or 48 for an engine, I had the engine.

Goal 12.1: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road Course [2 laps] - Defend your position - don't be overtaken (with increased top speed and decreased grip)

RR3 Michael P wrote:
12.1 was tricky, after many attempts I managed it. Tilt B, TC Off, Brakes Low and Steering High. I went straight across the track, hit the fount wheel of P2 car with my back wheel , as soon as he braked I went straight back and blocked P3 car. I then cut the grass at T1 and defend down the 1st straight. I pause the game and turned TC on. The bots are slow around the bends, their breaks are between Low and High, so once there was a gap it's easy with low breaks.

Midnite Dr wrote:
My PR Is 110.8 = Engine 3 * Drivetrain 1 * Body 1 * Suspension 1 * Exhaust 2 * Brakes 1 * Tires & Wheels 1

Midnite Dr wrote:
Race 1 - Grip Reduced Defend Your Position And Don't Be Overtaken - Set Steering HIGH * Traction Control On * Brakes Assist LOW * Head Right To Block 3rd Then Back Left To Block 2nd Then Align Yourself For Turn 1, Then Is Smooth Sailing Until You Reach Turn 11 (Curva Porabolica) Where You Will Need To Use HIGH Brakes Or Assist The LOW Brakes Because The Low Brakes Will Not Be Sufficient To Turn That Corner, Once You Pass That Corner Safe You Should Be Good To Good.

Goal 12.2: Head To Head at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road Course [1 lap] - Stay behind the safety car within 60yd (55m), and skid 10 times (with increased top speed and decreased grip)

RR3 Michael P wrote:
12.2 Just took some practice, TC off, to start. I waited for the pace car to pull away then did a couple of short skids, I caught the pace car back up and did some more skids on the grass, on the right of T1. I then tried to follow around 25 yds behind.

82.8.81.174 wrote: 12.2 stay right up to the safety car - less than 20m - and only try skids when he is braking for turns. That way he can't accelerate away and you have time to regain full control and catch him again.

Midnite Dr wrote:
Race 2 - Stay 60yds Behind Safety Car And Complete 10 Skids, Steering HIGH, Brakes HIGH, Traction Control OFF' - 'Rmr Its A Safety Car So Be Prepared To Hit The Brakes On Green Because The F14 T Is Much Faster Than The Safety Car, On Green I Hit The Brakes And Turn Right And Back Left Contineously To get Some Skids In Without Dropping Back More Than 60yds So I Manage 6 On The Straight And i Did 2 2 At Turn 1 & Turn 3 & 4 But If You Aren;t Able To Do Skids On The Start Don't Worry Because You Can Complete Your Goal By Skidding At Each Corners With The Above Setup, Be Always Ready To Hit Brakes Because The F14T Is A Beast On A Mission.

Goal 12.3: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road Course [1 lap] - Finish in at least 6th place (with increased top speed, decreased grip and unpredictable steering)

RR3 Michael P wrote:
12.3 By now my car was broken, so couldn't beat the stating line up. I started, tilt A, left the car go down the straight, paused, retired and retried. After every 5 restarts I tried to complete the race. I must have repeated about 15~20 times, this took maybe 30 mins, which is much quicker than a 4:45 repair. I even made a cup, leaving the car to start, when I returned it was ½ way around the lap, I had to watch it, unaided, it final finished with a time of 6:33! The bots AI was now low, and they would space out. I was up against the car which was in ~10th on the original grid. I could then pass them in the corners, TC On, Break Low, Steering High. I turned the volume up, so I could hear the warning noise and tapped the breaks as soon as I heard it. It still took a few attempts more and some luck, but I did it by cutting T1, which left me in 3rd, I tried to maintain my place, without blocking, as I didn't want to bunch the cars up. When I got to the last straight I could lift off and cross in 6th.

82.8.81.174 wrote: 12.3 hold the centre line rather than the best racing line and the jerks don't seem so bad. Also gives you more time to correct without losing speed on the verges. Took me a few tries though.

Midnite Dr wrote: Race 3 - Debris On Track From Accident Causing The Steering To Swing Widely At Times Finish 6th, Nothing Much To Say About This Race Apart From Be On The Lookout For The SHARP WIDE Steering Pull Sometimes It Requires A Few Taps To Keep In Control Other While Other Times You Have To Hold The The Direction To Keep It Off The Grass (I Found this To Be My Most Challenging Race In 12, I Redid The Race A couple Times And Some You Hardly Notice The Pulls While Other Times They Were So Severe It Was Almost Impossible) But Thank GOD I Got Through It Also My Final Advise On This Race Don't Stay In 6th All The Time Race To Reach 2nd And You Can Allow Drivers To Pass From At Least Half Way Of The Race, It May Be Hard For Some Of You With The Steering Pulling But I Use The Rear View Mirrir At Times When Allowing A Pass.

Goal 12.4: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road Course [2 laps] - Finish in at least 12th place (with slower acceleration and decreased grip)

RR3 Michael P wrote:
12.4 I found very easy, even with a broken car! I thought I'd never do it with the cars flying passed me at the start, I cut across the grass at T1 again, and maintained my speed in the corners. The bots were easy to pass around the corners and hardly gained on the straights. I was in 9th on the 2nd lap and had to slow to allow the 10th and 11th to pass.

Midnite Dr wrote:
Race 4 - Acceleration Severly Hampered Fight To Finish 12th - Steering HIGH, Traction ON, Brakes LOW - You Will Be Scared When The Green Lights Go Out Because The Cars Will Be Flying Pass But Just Stay To The Right And Pass A Few In Turn 1 Which Should Give You At Least 3rd And Work Your Way from There, Remember Its 2 Laps So Dont Give Up Any Position Unless You Must Or Just Wait Until You At Lap 2 And Time Your Techique, Keep Looking In Your Reverse Camera When Giving Up A Position.

Goal 12.5: Endurance at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road Course - Win this stint without colliding or exceeding 180 mph (290kph) (with increased top speed and decreased grip)

RR3 Michael P wrote:
Endurance events and Elimination events are particularly good to slow the bot's down for future events, next best are Drag Race events, Autocross events and Speed Snap events, see methods to slow bots down.

RR3 Michael P wrote:
12.5 I kept going over 180! My car was broken, but still had a max of 185. After a few more attempts I remembered to break when I hit 170 mph, the target was very low, 3.1 mi, almost 1 lap. Cut T1 to avoid the stupid bots waiting for you to crash into them. TC On, Breaks High, Steering High

Midnite Dr wrote:
Race 5 - Start Last And Win But Avoid Collision (ENDURANCE RACE) - Steering Assist HIGH, Brakes LOW / HIGH Choice, Traction Control ON * Easiest Race Just Pass The Opponents And Get To The Most Mile Under Your belt (I Was So Excited About Race 12.6 I Just Stop The Car After Passing 1st Place).

Goal 12.6: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Road Course [10 laps] - Win the Championship! (with increased top speed and decreased grip)

RR3 Michael P wrote:
12.6 I thought I would have to repair the car before the finally, so I thought I'd have a go and farm some R$ and fame, but no, the bots AI was again very low, I could only do about 1:30 laps and still finished 1,000+ yds ahead, I started lapping cars on lap 7. TC On, Breaks Low, Steering High

Midnite Dr wrote:
Race 6 - Win The Championship - Steering Assist HIGH, Brakes LOW, Traction Control ON - Race Is 10 Laps Best Advice Is Use Managers For R$ And Fame - See You At The Finish Line, This Race Can Be Won With HIGH Brakes If You Aren't Comfortable With Low Braking.

Reports

RR3 Michael P wrote:
I enjoyed the event, some of the trials where just random making them ridiculous, keeping places with random AI bots spinning in front was so frustrating. Overall I'm gold positive, and it was worth doing to win the F14 T.

Start / End Strategy[]

The player has 12 days to complete the 12 stages, the event is 12 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end 12 x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straight forward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can continued the following day. Stage 02, will automatically unlock at midnight, but can only be raced once stage 01 is complete. Stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 12. In total there will be 12 x 24 hours = 288 hours to complete all stages.

For example:

Start Tue @ 7:30 PM the event will end 12 days x 24 hours later, Sunday @ 7:30 PM,

When is the last time I can start this Event?[]

The exact date is unknown, as the next release is expected July 24, and this take 12 days it is wise to start before July 11

Will this event be added to the race career?[]

FM went though a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.

Will the car be available to win in the future?[]

The FERRARI F14 T is available to win if the challenge is completed in 12 days, or the FERRARI F14 T can be purchased.

Can I buy the car?[]

The FERRARI F14 T is available in three series:

This vehicle was added in the Scuderia Ferrari Update (v3.0) released in December 2014 alongside with the FERRARI 375 F1 and FERRARI 412 T2 showcasing three generations of FERRARI's Formula One vehicles. It is unlocked as soon as Campionato Scuderia Ferrari is unlocked or by earning 3 trophies in Ferrari Evolution.

This vehicle can be acquired for 1,050 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted or 840 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted with showcase discount.[1]
