  1. 1st 3:41 v no bot time, I reached 156 mph three times on the 1st straight, after the Chicane by accelerated past 156 mph then breaking three times, I then reached 156 mph on the 2nd straight and turned controls to wheel B and waited on the straight to set a very slow time, used 6 bar of damage
  • 1.2 Monza H2H, 1 lap, win or run bot off the track
  1. 1st 0:28.1 v F. Santos, I passed Santos in the first set of corners then held up, as soon as he stopped I had an instant green flag and won, used 2 bar of damage
  • 1.3 Monza, win with 118 mph average.
  1. 1st 1:48 v 1:50.1 LOLOLOL offline bot #27, I cut the grass to the right of turn 1 and was in the lead on the first corner, I then reached 118 mph on the 2nd straight then started to slow to maintain the average speed and on the final Straight I slowed to win by a small margin, used 8 bar of damage, serviced

Summary: As usual stage one was straightforward and all events won at the first attempt, let's hope the remaining six stages are easy.

Day 1 shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. 1 attempt events even with far from flawless driving. Serviced afterwards.

Challenge 1: reach 156 mph 4 times. Can be done inside the first two chicanes. Once on the first straight towards the first chicane, and then easily 3x on the long straight before the second chicane. With manual accelaration, briefly lift right after reaching 156-157 (watch the counter register +1), should drop you to around 150 mph, and accelarate straightaway. You can crash into the wall at the chicanes if necessary. After reaching 4, slowed down to record a lousy laptime. Who knows, might confuse the bots later on ...

Challenge 2 head to head, rolling start. The other car is a few hundred yards ahead. As soon as you give him a good nudge from the side, the green banner appears. After 36s in my case on the back straight (it's on the short track - the Junior course).

Challenge 3: 1 lap with an average of at least 118 mph. I think there were 4 other cars in this. All passable before the first chicane by braking late. You can go off track, cut corners, barge into the bots but it shouldn't be necessary really. So straightforward. If you're around 110-114 mph before the backstraight towards Parabolica / final righthander, you should cruise. Hit 118 before the back straight and held the speed around 120 mph, slowed at the end to lower the AVG down to 118.

Day one; no assist, Tilt B 0 upgrade. 1.1 On the straight after the first chicane, accelerate past 250KPH, break and the accelerate again. Don't worry if you didn't do it 4 time, there is plenty of long enough straight to do it. After that slow the bot down.

1.2 If there is an option to doesn't requires to win then don't win. There might be a bug with the ran opponent off road detection, first time I drove along side and prevent the AI to turn into the corner and go wide but it didn't register. So I tried again with turning into the AI's rear wheel and this time it does register.

1.3 Average speed is not a problem at all. The trick is to go slow to slow the bots. This can be a bit hard as the AI in this particular SE seems very aggressive. Don't stress too much just finish as slow as you can.

Another quick and straightforward day. Opponents are getting quicker but no problems to pass the challenges in 1 attempt (yet!). No servicing needed inbetween.

Challenge 1: do a lap of Silverstone in the Miura without damaging it. This is easy. You don't have to win. Parked at the side of the track, let everyone past and finished 13th in over 2 minutes (just in case a slow time will slow the bots later on)

Challenge 2: head to head with Cunningham. No off track for more than 5 secs. Bumped him off track and then slowed and blocked him. Finished in 1m25 (again, hoping botmanagement will reap rewards later on)

Challenge 3: Autocross target time 48.171, must reach at least 170 mph. Speed not a problem on the long back straight, brake when you've hit the target. Reached the finish with a few seconds to spare so waited and crossed in 47.841.

HV2308 (level 248, manual controls, no assists, PR 70.8 - all level 1 R$ upgrades)

Easy challenge so far. Only 3 events a day and pretty straightforward. Can be done well under recommended PR, no servicing inbetween, no gold upgrades required yet & 10 golds reward for your trouble!

Day 3 all at Laguna Seca. 3.1 is with the Countach, 3.2 & 3.3 the Centenario.

3.1 My Countach is PR 32.6. When I have the choice I always take the slower option: finish 5th with 6 secs of skids & 3 secs off track. 6 other cars in it - that means doing the skids & going off track (cutting corners while skidding is a best of all worlds) and then having to pass only 2 cars. Rolling start, had it all done before entering the first straight. Then slowed the bot in 6th place for 2 laps.

3.2 Speed snap. Don't win by too much. You start on the home straight and the line is after turn 2. Plenty of time to build up speed, clean exit out of turn 2 and then watch the speedo and tap/feather the accelaration, finishing as close to the 125 mph target as possible. Winning by a too large margin will probably give you quicker bots later on.

3.3 A cup race with 4 cars. Easy to pass them by braking late. Brush them aside from the inside. Rest of the race slow / block / spin off the bots to win in as slow a time as possible. Serviced and got the level 2 R$ upgrades (should have got them sooner, waiting time 18 hrs)

Day 3; No assist, Tilt B , 0 Upgrade.

3.1 finish fifth and skidding is very easy to do and should be preferred over winning the race. The bots are very aggressive in this SE for whatever reason.

3.2 A decent exit from the last corner on my first try put me just above target speed. Quite lucky here, I was expecting a few more try.

3.3 Win without going off track for 2 second is very easy. Again the bots are very aggressive making slowing them down quite hard. Never experienced anything like this in any other series. Maybe this is the speciality of this SE or I am just paranoid.

Getting the first of my upgrades. I did about half of the tier 1 upgrade, the ones that focus on straight line speed (engine, transmission etc.) Closing the halfway point and I am expecting it to get hard from here.

HV2308 (level 248, manual controls, no assists, PR 70.8 - all level 1 R$ upgrades, waiting for level 2 R$ upgrades)

4.1 Head to head, finish 2nd but stay within 90yds of the leading car for the whole lap. The key is to be as close as possible on the tail of the car in front when you leave the infield section and return to the banked oval. Brake late, close right up and hit the accelarator early. If you are too far back the leader will accelarate earlier and pull away to over 90 yds. Finished in 1m33s.

4.2 Back in the Countach (mine is PR 32.6) against 3 Ferrari F40's. Went for the slower option of finishing first while skidding for more than 2 secs. Braking late will get you to 1st within a few corners. Then you can easily do those in the corners and hold up the bots. Especially on the narrower infield section. Finished in 1m53s.

4.3. Maintaining 122 mph & not going off track for more than 1 sec. no problem. Couldn't get to 217 mph in my PR 70.8 1111111 trim (maximum 214 mph, even with turning back at the start and starting from before the busstop at the beginning of the start-finish straight).

  • The turning back trick also helps if you're struggling with reaching the required avg. speed of 122 mph. Run to the bus stop should lift it to around 135-140 mph, quickly turn round and do the lap in the right direction. You should have a good cushion to easily reach your target.
  • if you're struggling for the topspeed target: hitting the blue wall at the end of the start-finish straight (on the outside of turn 1) doesn't count as off track - as long as you stay on the tarmac and don't go on to the brown patch.

Serviced & waiting for the rest of my R$ upgrades to arrive.

With all the R$ upgrades now on (1212122) the target for 4.3 dropped to 215.2 instead of 217+ previously. Reached 215.42 by turning round & going through the bus stop onto the back straight. Turned the right way there, took the bus stop at as high a speed as possible (exitspeed around 140 mph) and went flat out for the blue wall at turn 1. Keep off the brown patch and bouncing off the wall won't count as off track. Just made the target, completed the lap making sure not to spoil it all by going off track ;-)

4.4 Cup race with 5 cars, max. 1 sec off track. Pretty straightforward. The bots were a bit quicker on the straights, much slower in the corners. Brake later & pass on the inside. Tried to slow / block and spin off bots after that. Watch out, they are pretty agressive, they were over me like a swarm of bees. Won in 4m47.2s.

Serviced and put on GC upgrades engine, body & exhaust (2222222), and the R$ upgrades after those, so will have 3232322 in 24 hrs time.

Day 4, No assist, Tilt B Upgrade 1110100 - 3232122

4.1 Day where is where it gets hard. The AI can easily pull away on the straight line so it is very important to have the better exit through every corner. The best way to do it is to spin the AI ever so slightly by giving them a gentle push heading into the corner. If you can nail the corners it is doable even with limited upgrade.

4.2 I don't know how this is possible the F40 out class the countach so much I don't know how they didn't run circles around the countach. That aside, I am using a completely stock countach since I don't have the car and upgrades are locked. There is two way to complete it under 1:50 or skid for 2 second. Obviously for bot management I would choose the skid but the countach doesn't drift well at all. Once one wheel loses grip all other wheel follow, I just completely lose control of the car. With that out of the window I went for the 1:50. Much easier to do. Did it on my first attempt. If you are struggling with time just cut the right hander after the horseshoe big time and you should be fine.

4.3 is pay to pass. With just 4 upgrade the target is 353 and I have a theoretical top speed of 357. No point trying, bought a wall of upgrade and target drop to 349. Did it on my first attempt with a normal run.

4.4 Straight forward race. The AI take the second corner very slowly on the first lap and first lap only. No idea why but it is good opportunity to take the lead. After that just do some bot management. The bots are very aggressive in this SE. The best way to slow them is to drive slowly on the straight but not too slow. This way they won't attempt overtake as much as they do in corners.

I bit of a fluke, but I'll take it :) Currently 3232122 for 95 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted

PR75.6 (3232122): as other have said, getting a good exit for the straight is critical. I would like to add that disabling all assists helps immensely as you can go slightly wider on exit without skidding or the TC slowing you down. Also, for slowing down I didn't use the left or right barriers, just braked and slammed into the opposite wall (right side on exit) sideways. It seems the game doesn't register this as collision, as opposed to hitting it head-on.

HV2308 (level 248, manual controls, no assists, PR 77.1 17/28 upgrades 3232322)

Not much difficulty - with PR 77.1. All races at Le Mans. Races 1-3-4 in the Centenario, race 2 in the Murcielago.

5.1 Hunter. Target drops about 30 yds every time you quit, but with PR 77.1 even the initial target of 575 yds is doable. At the start you're about 4700 yds down. You catch the red hunter car around the Porsche curves so keep plugging away. Target 539 yards, won by 13 yards.

5.2 One lap in the Murcielago (mine is PR 65.4) drafting any opponent for 60 secs and being in the lead for 60 secs. The tailgating clock adds up. You can lose the draft and it will start counting where it left off. The 'in the lead clock' goes back to 0.0 if you lose the lead. But if you have completed 60 secs in the lead, it stays there even if you are overtaken after that. 5 cars in the race, not too quick, plenty of time to tailgate. You can switch from one to the other. I think you start in 3rd place. Won in 4.04.7. Serviced the Murcielago just in case.

5.3. 2 laps 6 cars. Average speed of 140 mph with at least 15 overtakes. Used the free mechanic I had available (had 3 bars of damage left before the race). That way I could do the whole of day 5 in one run. Try to overtake the whole bunch of cars in one go, that will give you 5 overtakes at a time. You can basically do this before every corner, as the bots really slow and bunch up there. And only have to do it 3 times. Did it before the first corner, in the corner before entering the long straight and in the chicane halfway the first straight. Even if one or 2 cars slip away, there are plenty of opportunities to catch them up. The average speed of 140 was no problem at all. Although to stay ahead of 2nd I ended up with avg. 142 mph. Won in 7.07.3 and by 15 yds. held up 2nd place a bit in the second half of the second lap.

5.4 Win with a maximum speed of 222 mph, no colliding and no off track for more than 2 secs. Got into first as soon as possible to avoid damage (took the right side and passed all cars before the first chicane, bit of side contact is apparently no problem). Even without a clean entry onto the long straight (little skid) I managed 222 mph quite easily. Braked and slowed myself further by steering into the left barrier beside the track (see the comments section, great tip, although you could maybe make it on brakes only too). Made the first chicane on the straight with ease. Completed the lap without too much pressure from behind (always 80 yds or more back), slowed a bit towards the end, managing the gap. Won in 3.31.1.

Montoym: Here's my Report for Stage 5.  I'm a day behind due to starting on the 2nd day.

My Car - R$ only to start, 11/28 PR 73.5.  I drive Tilt A, TC On, Steering Low, Brakes Low, unless otherwise stated.

5.1 - I had a target of +575yds.  This turned out to be very easy.  I spun out the Silvia when I caught up to it, but I likely didn't need to. I had to slow toward the end to reduce my spacing.  I finished with +665yds.

5.2 - My R-SV GT1 is fairly highly upgraded, at 18/20, PR 67.1.  This event was also a piece of cake.  I had completed both goals by the Mulsanne Corner.  From there, I just coasted to the end and slowed to close the gap by the finish.  Finished at 3:56.563 vs 2nd place at 3:57.563

5.3 - I made this race harder than necessary.  I had TC Off and while I was on the Mulsanne Straight for the 1st lap, I was messing with the bots and managed to get myself spun around and ended up in 5th place.  I spent the majority of the lap catching up to the lead cars and I had to work a bit to get my overtakes in.  In the end, it didn't end up being as tough as I had thought it might be after the spin out, but I did have to work decently hard to catch back up.  I finished with about a 10yd lead with a time of 7:08.822 vs 2nd place at 7:09.117 Montoym 5.4 - Knowing I'd have to upgrade for this race, I went ahead and added the Engine, Drivetrain and Body 1st level GC upgrades and kicked off the follow-up R$ upgrades they had.  This put me at PR 75.2, 14/28, 2322122. With TC Off, I made 3 attempts at this upgrade level but couldn't managed to hit 222mph and slow enough to keep from crashing into the barrier at the chicane (Brake Assist was off to maximize the speed).  So, I went ahead and used ads to speed up the Engine upgrade.  This put me at PR 75.8, 15/28 3322122.  This still was not quite enough.  I hit 222mph, but again could not stop quick enough.  Perhaps with a few more attempts I could have done it, but impatience got the best of me and I used ads to speed up the Drivetrain upgrade.  This put me at PR 76.5, 16/28 3422122.  This was what I needed.  On my next attempt, I hit 222mph easily, had plenty of space to slow down and I coasted the rest of the lap.  The bots were a non-issue. I had a 1000+yd lead after the Ford Chicanes and I stopped at the finish line to close the gap.  I finished at 3:32.252 vs. 2nd place at 3:33.454 with 0.0sec of off-track time.

I have the Body R$ upgrade completing before Stage 6 opens for me tomorrow, I am planning to get through Stage 6 with no additional upgrades.  Based on Filob46's report below, this seems doable.  Ideally, I'd prefer to finish up the event at 17/28 without any further upgrades, but I'll have to see what Stage 7 has in store.

Day 5 no assist tile B upgrade 3232122 - 3232222

5.1 is fairly easy. Use the quit and continue method will lower the goal. It bottoms out at 461m for me. Just a clean lap will do. Did it on my first actual attempt.

5.2 I don't have the murcielago and upgrade is locked. But it shouldn't be a problem. the AI are two ford GT GT1 and a GTR GI1. You are the fasted in the straight and through corner so neither tail gate and uninterrupted lead should be a problem. Did both of that before the mulsanne. And proceed to slow the bots.

5.3 Hitting the target should be too hard the AIs are quite slow. It is about finding the best balance between bot management and hit the goal. I did too much bot management in two of the ran and finished just below the speed requirement. Eventually got it through although I set a lap time almost 20 second faster than the AI. Not an ideal run but I don't really have the time to do it again.

5.4 It appears to be a bug with the metric unit. It says 356km/h but if you do the conversion 222mph is 357.25km/h. Do it in imperial unit to avoid the frustration. I bought the tier 2 gold upgrade for the exhaust just in case but it should be achievable without that. Just get a good exit through tetre rouge. If you can't stop in time force the car to a spin and hit the wall but the exit side on. That wouldn't register as a Collison.

Goal 6.1: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Win this event - Recommended PR78.4

Goal 6.2: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Win with a Qualifying Time less than 2:22 whilst overtaking at least four times (using LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR LP 700-4) - Recommended PR n/a

Goal 6.3: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [3 laps] - Win with an average speed of 128 mph (205 kph) whilst reaching a top speed greater than 194 mph (313 kph) 2 times - Recommended PR78.4

PR75.6 (3232122): the top speed is difficult to hit but doable by getting a good exit for the straight and going off-track at the end of it. Just forget about braking, the lead over the other cars should be pretty comfortable to allow this manoeuvre.

Goal 6.4: Cup at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps [1 lap] - Win this event without going off-track for more than 2 seconds or skidding for more than 2 seconds - Recommended PR78.4

Post-challenge: R$27,014,607 — 1,552 Curr.Gold.New.80x80.Shifted — 170/179 Cars — Level 247

HV2308 (level 248, manual controls, no assists, Centenario PR 77.1 17/28 upgrades 3232322). 4 goals, all at Spa Francorchamps. 1-3-4 in the Centenario, 2 in the Aventador (mine is PR 59.5)

6.1 A one lap Cup event with 7 cars to use up some bars of damage. Pretty straightforward. Won in 2.29.3 with 8 bars of damage.

6.2 in the Aventador. Cup race with 4 cars. Do a 2.22 lap with 4 overtakes. First start was ridiculous, 3 Audi's (R8 LMS Ultra I think) that went off at a snails pace. Overtook them, braked and overtook again, so had my 4 overtakes done before the first corner. Unfortunately, at the end of the lap I slowed down towards the finishline to get closer to 2m22s and forgot about the other cars and didn't get 1st ;-) (winning time was 2.15).

Next time around there were some McLarens, but neither the 4 overtakes or the laptime were too much of a problem. Even with the Aventador skidding and sliding all over the place. Spun some bots round on the way without getting too involved to make the target time. 2.20.5.

6.3 took me quite a few tries. Cup race with 7 cars, 3 laps.

The average speed of 128 mph shouldn't be too much of a problem. Plenty of long straights. Although you need a bit of a cushion towards the end of the lap (1-2 mph) if you do the final chicane as it should be done and don't cut across the grass.

Getting to 194 mph was more troublesome. At PR 77.1 the only place I could (just about) hit 194 mph was at the end of Kemmel straight (the first long straight). 3 laps = 3 chances to reach 194 mph. But lap 3 is so much more relaxing when you reach the target on both lap 1 & 2 ;-)

If necessary, steer for the (right side) of the wall at the end of Kemmel Straight for that last mile of topspeed you need. The two difficulties are 1. not getting a clean run (= bots being a nuisance) & 2. not entering the straight with enough speed.

  1. Take the inside at the start and brake late or lift & coast. Ideally, you should get past 3rd and spin round 1st, maintaining enough speed not to be overtaken on the inside. If you are not in 1st, try to keep a bit of space with the car infront to get a good exit from Eau Rouge. The bots in front will inevitably slow a bit and get in the way, but if you pass without touching (= losing speed) it can be done.
  2. As making the 194 mph at the end of the straight was tight, my mistake was to hit Eau Rouge with too much speed, worried as I was about entering the straight at too low speed. A slight skid, lift off the accelarator or dab of the brake will put the target out of reach. Better not to be too fast into Eau Rouge (maybe lift just before) so you can start accelarating from the bottom of the hill or maybe just before. If you enter the straight at 150 mph and are at 180 mph at the footbridge over the track halfway the straight, you should get to 194 mph.

Won in 6.03.1. Relaxed final lap, controlled the avg. speed to 128 mph at the finish. Other cars were way back.

Plenty of time left for 6.4, so saved and serviced.

6.4 One lap cup race, 7 cars in total. No skidding for more than 2 secs, no off track for more than 2 secs. Pretty straightforward & familiar after the previous races. Dive down the inside at turn 1 and get as far to the front as you can. Went into Eau Rouge in 2nd, nudged Loiselle out of the way and managed the gap to around 30-50 yds till the end. The chasing bot will usually brake very late and try to make a pass on the left just before the final chicane, but this race wasn't too much of a problem. Won in 2.10.1, 0.4s ahead. Serviced.

6.3 was the hard one for me today. Hoping PR 77.1 & 3232322 will get me through day 7.

Tomtraubert2009

Just a report on 6.3 - it's another way of doing it

PR 77.1 (3232322) - Tilt B - SA Low, TC on, BA off

Was fully serviced - Sat on the start line for 6-7 secs and let the bots go off so that when I'd be approaching Eau Rouge I'd not have to worry about their line, only my own because the entry to Eau Rouge is most important as the Kemmel straight is where you'll hit 194 mph target. Approach Eau Rouge sensibly, it's natural to try and hit it fast but the old adage is spot on here : "slow in fast out".

If your entry is right you'll hammer it up the hill and wont slide and you'll still be able to drive on the desired line and you'll hit 194 by the end of the straight - veer to the right at the end to be sure.

I somehow managed to hit 194 again near the end of Blanchimont. Map here

Then I put Brake Assist on low and chased down the rest of the bots and had exactly the 128 mph average target crossing the finish line. I had 130 at the chicance but overcooked it and hit the wall. Got lucky.

Ready to attack 6.4 later and do day 7 tomorrow.

I'm happy with this so far.

Day 6 no assist, tilt B, upgrade 3232222

6.1 simply win the event with no other condition and the AIs are pretty slow. The goals don't get easier than that. Do as much bot management as you can there isn't a better opportunity.

6.2 my Aventador has 17 upgrades on it so the goal is really easily. I tried to do some bot management but end up doing too much finishing in 2:23. On the second run I went easier on bot management and finish in 2:14.

6.3 reaching the top speed of 313kph twice and maintain an average speed of 205kph. Reaching that top speed can be a bit tricky but with the upgrades I have it is achievable on either the kemmel straight or blanchimont with a good exit from the corner leading up to them, so six chance in total. Careful to not crash too often as it does reduced you performance during the race and will make reaching the top speed even harder. Because of the average speed requirement bot management is not viable just finish as slow as you can. Leave a bit of buffer before you went into the final chicane. Around 2 or 3kph should be enough.

6.4 win without skidding nor going off track for more than 2 second. Again very easy to do but hard to manage the bot. The best way to slow them is coast into the corner. Do the switch back and spin the leading AI after the corner. 2 Second is quite a generous amount enough to allow one mistake. Shouldn't be too much of a problem.

PR 75.6 (3232122): hardest part by far in stage 7 for me. Tried clean race, ended up right behind the Aventador several times but no more time to overtake. In the end I knocked him out on the first straight and this way I was able to catch up to him but it was again very close. Was a bit lucky as I overtook three cars right on the last lap, the Murcielago and Aventador getting stuck behind the COUNTACH for a short while.

Goal 7.2: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza (Morning) – Road Course [1 lap] - Finish a lap in the opposite direction before your opponents can finish a lap whilst reaching a top speed of 196 mph (316 kph) - Recommended PR80.6

7.2 tip, watch the video. Passed on my 1st attempt. My PR is shown in the video. I made a huge mistake at the last chicane, I believe if you go to the far right rather than the far left you can sneak between a gap.  Even with my head on crash I had lots of time left over. Can be watched in 1080 HD

This is a piece of cake at PR75.6 (3232122), finished the lap at 1:2x, well below the recommended minimum of 1:35. Cutting some high speed corners helps immensely.

Goal 7.3: Drag Race at Autodromo Nazionale Monza – Road Course — Win this event - Recommended PR80.6

7.3 Drag Race is easily winnable with PR77.1 3232322, you just need to do the 'Start Trick'.

Press pause a second or two after the third red light appears.

Now, using your thumbs, press resume, then pause, as quickly as you can.

Keep repeating this until the horn blows, and the launch light turns green.

Now press and hold your right thumb where the launch button will be, and THE INSTANT you hit resume with your left thumb or forefinger, you'll launch. This trick will give you at least a tenth of a second jump over your best launch.

Goal 7.4: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza – Road Course [2 laps] - Win whilst reaching a top speed of 198 mph (319 kph) 4 times without going off-track for more than 2 seconds - Recommended PR80.6

7.4 PR77.1 3232322 SA High, BA & TC off

Muscle your way into first place by the first corner, then enable low BA. You'll have plenty of performance to hit the 198 mph target 3x by the time you pass the start/finsh line at the end of lap one, making for an easy lap 2, and onto a win.

PR75.6 (3232122): easy race, enough opportunities to hit the target speed and brake safely without going off-track. It's preferable to be in first place after the first chicane, even if it means going off-track for a short time. 2 seconds is plenty enough.

Goal 7.5: Cup at Autodromo Nazionale Monza – Road Course [3 laps] - Win this event without going off-track for more than 1 second or skidding for more than 1 second - Recommended PR80.6

PR75.6 (3232122): easy if you can get to first place, or at least 2nd, in the first chicane. Repeat until you manage it, the 1 second limit is pretty tight.

Here's my report for Stage 7.

I started on day 2, so Stage 7 just opened for me about 90mins ago.

My car - PR 77.0, 17/28, 3432122. I race Tilt A, Brakes low, Steering Low, TC On, unless otherwise specified.

7.1 - I read some of the comments of others and I made sure to go after the 1st place car in the chicane at the start. I knocked him around a bit and apparently, that made the difference. I was concerned for a bit because it didn't seem like I was making up enough time, but then around lap 8, I could see the marker for the 2nd place car up ahead of me. I ended up catching the 2 faster Lambos just before the final turn of lap 9. Those were my 4th and 5th lapped cars and then I passed the Countach shortly thereafter. i had all 6 lapped cars before the end of lap 9. So I coasted through lap 10, then stopped and waited by the finish lien for the rest to catch up. I finished at 7:27.293 to 2nd place at 7:28.830

7.2 - This one took me 2 tries. On my 1st attempt I misjudged a turn and ended up off track longer than I wanted to be. Plus, when I met up with the pack of cars, I hit a few of them and it slowed me down further. So, assuming I would have a poor lap, I force-closed and tried again. On my 2nd attempt, I had a better run. I actually still managed to hit the pack of cars when they came around, but its was perfect. i hit the lead car and we both stopped in our tracks. All the following cars were just lined up behind the lead car. So, I just turned to go around, made sure I didn't hit any other cars and continued on my way. I guess I didn't lose much time with that (or rather, all the cars lost similar time, myself included) and when I was heading down the start-finish straight, I actually slowed down a bit and still managed to finish ahead of the bots. I had a time of 1:40.417.

7.3 - I used pause-resume trick here and it worked flawlessly (I had seen it mentioned here before but never tried it until now). Finished 1st place on my first attempt.

7.4 - This one took me the most attempts of any race in Stage 7. On my 1st attempt, I had TC on (which is typical for me) and I was having a bit of trouble getting my 198 mph goals in. I decided to force-close and try again. On my 2nd attempt, I turned off TC. This did help me to gain speed more quickly, but for some reason, the bots were right on me and I managed to get tangled up with them and I ended up off-track, force close and retry again. On my 3rd attempt (still with TC Off), I had a much cleaner run and I got all 4 198 mph goals fairly easily and stayed away from the bots. Slowed at the finish to let the bots catch up and I finished at 3:06.442 vs 2nd place at 3:07.028.

7.5 - 1st attempt, TC On. Nothing special here, just race and don't go off-track or skid. On my 1st lap, I managed to come in a bit too hot into Parabolica and I did skid a bit, 0.8sec worth, so I had nothing left to give and I was more cautious for the final 2 laps. I did not pick up any more skid time and had no off-track time at all and I finished in first at 4:34.287 vs. 2nd place at 4:35.758. Even though it wasn't necessary, I slowed at the end to let the bots catch up a bit. I think it's just habit at this point lol!.

So, I won the Centenario without much drama on Stage 7. I did opt for a slightly more expensive upgrade route than others (170GC), but I do feel like the extra GC spent for the 3rd level Drivetrain upgrade made some of the stages easier than upgrading something else like Exhaust, Brakes, or Tires & Wheels. I have no data to back that up really, but I did have an easier time on Stages 5 and 6 than what some of the comments were stating. Granted, some of it may be due to my bot slowing as well.

In any case, I have another car in my garage, for a 70GC net cost, I'm happy with that. Best of luck to everyone else still in the fight!

Dodensportaler43 wrote:
The Centenario is in my garage now. I've made it with PR 78.5 (3432322).

7.1 - I couldn't lap the Aventador just for a few yards before the finish line. But, after many failures, I hit the Miura shortly after I was into the 3rd lap and it remained stuck in a tiny gap on the left of the very first turn for the whole event. That made it easy to lap the bots. I had only to get past the Miura to do it. And it also allowed me not to cut the finish line too far away from the 2nd. Otherwise I think the bots may have speeded up in the next events. The Miura finished with a time of 32:46:242.

7.2 - Made it at the 4th try. It wasn't hard, but the problem here was that I can't drive with SA off. I drive with SA low and everything else off. I've put the steering sensitivity at 10 for it.

7.3 - The bots went 5-6 yards ahead of me but managed to catch up before the finish line. Maybe I've made it thanks to the "bot slowing" in 7.1? Who knows. Fact is, I've made it after a few tries.

7.4 - Reached 198 mph 4 times easily on the first lap. I just raced it like it was a normal race without any side goals at all.

7.5 - I just had to win it. Just without going off ttrack or drifting. It was easy too and made it at the first try.

Overall, I've spent just 216 GC for the upgrades, minus 100 for the completion of the event so that brings it down to 116 GC. I've spent much less than I was expecting.... but anyway I will have to spend another 700+ for Hypercar Club...

HV2308 (level 248, manual controls, no assists, Centenario PR 77.1 17/28 upgrades 3232322 for 7.1 & 7.2, 3332322 PR 77.8 for 7.3-7.5

7.1 10 laps of Monza junior course against 4 other cars: a Miura and a Countach you both lap twice, and a Murcielago and an Aventador. Santos is in the Aventador. If you don't barge him off track in the first corner as suggested in other tips, you need to be around 2650 yards ahead to lap him. Took me quite a number of tries with 77.1. You need a pretty smooth & clean run for 10 laps. Had to restore & restart a few times because of off tracks & losing speed, or being slowed when passing. Strangely enough, I did some clean runs but couldn't catch Santos, and in a race I bumped heavily into the Murcielago twice! on lap 7-8, costing me a lap to catch up again, I got to Santos pretty easily, passing him at the beginning of the final lap. Get to Santos in time, the last few laps at least he was quicker on the straights than I was (in spite of being 2000+ yds back). As in all these events, bots are slow in the corners. Watch out at the start, the Countach is off so slow you need to swerve right to avoid him. In the lead by turn 1, then make sure you get 350 yds on Santos each lap. Won in 6.34.1, Santos 7.18. Needless to say this event costs all your bars of damage. Use the mechanic, or service if not pressed for time.

7.2 Lap of Monza in the opposite direction. Get familiar with the circuit. You can cut chicanes you normally can't, and have to go pretty slow in the final chicane towards start finish. You meet the pack at the end of the second straight in the first corner of the Lesmo double. Stay well to the side of the track (found the outside to be best). Had a couple of failures around 1.31-1.32 and then won in 1.39, strangely enough.

7.3 Couldn't do this with 77.1. Somehow the counting trick or the pause-resume trick don't work for me, I'm not quicker. Must perfect that technique. Now it cost me 75 gold. Tested what would happen with drivetrain 3&4 and had the event done in a few minutes. Restored & put upgrade drivetrain 3 on for 75 gold (& 4 for R$ but as that takes 36 hours it won't arrive until after the race. Drivetrain 3 was enough to complete day 7 anyhow). That was enough to win all three races (final target 9.2 something). If you have a false start in your first race, best to restore and start again, so you have a cushion of 3 false starts for the last two races. You never know ... You can basically retry races as often as you like. You'll get there in the end ...

7.4 Cup race with 20 cars, but you start 10th. Win and reach 198 mph 4 times. Most easy places to get to 198 mph are the backstraight and the start-finish straight. You should get your 4 there if you accelarate early. But with PR 77.8 you can (just) also get to 198 mph at the end of the second straight (inbetween the first & second chicane), then maybe just before the 3rd chicane (before the back straight) too. Try and get to 1st by the first chicane to have a nice clear track. Pass on the long straights if you're worried about off tracks.

7.5 Win the Cup race without skidding for more than 1 sec & off track for more than 1 sec. Pretty straightforward. You start in 6th. Dive down the right towards the chicane and try to nudgy first place out of the way. From then on it's a cruise to the finish - so easy I lost concentration and had to restore a couple of times.

Car in the garage without skips, in a day it will be 3432322, costing 226-100=126 golds. That's OK for a 850 golds car. The events were fun and I will benefit from them in future events. Must teach myself to do the stop-start trick in the dragrace. It will save me gold in the future. Good luck if you're still going!

7GearInReverse wrote: Day 7 No assist, Tilt B, upgrade(3232222) 7.1 spin the Aventador at the beginning and letting the Murcielago take the lead will make this much easier. The Aventador is the fastest of the rest but not fast enough to retake the lead over the murcielago. Not saying it would never over take the murcielago, it did in my first attempt and it is the only reason I failed the first attempt. Second attempt it didn't, I completed all of the lapping halfway through lap 9, sit at the line and wait for all of them to pass for bot management. There is no requirement for win so I chooses to finish last.

7.2 Cut the Variante Ascari and Curva del Vialone big time don't event break for them. Help achieving the top speed and reduce the lap time. I messed up my first try hit three wall and one car. Second try didn't hit anything and finished with plenty of time to spare.

7.3 Using the pause resume trick is the only way to pass without spending too much on upgrade. Take a few try to perfect it but the good news is you can retry each round as many time as you want. Too a few minutes but not that hard.

7.4 With my upgrade there are 4 possible place to reach the top speed. The start finish strait and back strait is the easiest with time to spare to do the break and accelerate trick. The 2 second off track limit is enough to cut the first corner and take lead on lap one. It helps to get a clean run into the straights to reach the top speed.

7.5 Race without making a mistake. Monza is a easy and quite forgiving track. Shouldn't be too hard to finish with 0 on both counter. I cut the first chicane a little be just to get the lead of the race. Much easier to do a clean race when I can control the race.

This is one of the easiest SE other than the ones in career series. Most of the time the goals is very easy, the challenge came from bot management. The bots are very aggressive combined with some of the requirement leaves very little room for bot management. Do as much as you can should be enough. There is no need to stress to much about them. There are tricks to pass the harder goals. Once you learn those trick they are quite easy as well. 4.3 is the only pay to pass. But it is worth to pay for the upgrade than skip it as top speed is very important for this event. I spent 141 gold on upgrade and didn't skip any of the missions. Not bad for a 850 gold car. Definitely recommended to attempt. It is a good opportunity to get a fast car for WTTT and just nice car to drive overall.

Start / End Strategy[]

The player has 7 days to complete the 7 stages, the event is 7 days x 24 hours. The first stage will start the time the player starts it, the last stage will end 7 x 24 hours later. As stage 01 is normally straight forward and can be completed without an upgrade or service, it can be started late in the day, it doesn't matter if stage 01 isn't completed the first day, it can continued the following day. Stage 02, will automatically unlock at midnight, but can only be raced once stage 01 is complete. Stage 03 will unlock at midnight the following day, and so on up to stage 7. In total there will be 7 x 24 hours = 168 hours to complete all stages.

For example:

Start Sunday March 19 @ 7:30 PM the event will end 7 days x 24 hours later, Sunday @ 7:30 PM,

RR3 Michael P wrote (pre-race tip):
I wouldn't recommend starting the event on the first day, Sunday March 3, as many racers, who start as soon as the event opens, complain about bugs, which FM then fix! Instead leave the start a day or two and let other people do the bug testing. Also the tips and details can be filled in by the early adopters, so starting a day or two later gives a better heads up.

Ideally, for racers who are busy Monday to Friday and have the weekend free, the best day and time to start is as late as possible Sunday March 19, as long as it's before midnight, meaning stage 7 of the event can be completed over two days, the following Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately there maybe a short time to start this event! It is only open for 8 days. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

When is the last time I can start this Event?[]

The exact date is unknown, normally 1 – 2 weeks.

The way FM display the date isn't very clear, they use a rounding factor. The days and hours remaining, to start, is changing at mid day or on the half hour. The closing date and time displayed is a cautious closing date and time. Keep an eye out for adverts to start the event and watch for a countdown to start. Once started the event can be run, even if it's closed to new racers.

Will this event be added to the race career?[]

FM went though a spell of adding special events to the racing career, the last time a special event was added was September 2015 v3.6, NASCAR Academy was added directly to the NASCAR career, without previously being released as a Time Limited Event (TLE). Previous to that was April 2015 v3.3, with Redline: Origins and MotorFiesta 1. It is therefore unlikely this event will be added to the racing career.
