Customization allows the player to personalize their car with a variety of custom paints, vinyls, rims, and adjust their car's ride height. The player can usually only use 
to purchase customization items, but there are occasional "sales" in-game where 
can be used instead for specific cars. Additionally, all customization options are free for cars that are fully upgraded. The price for a customization item will vary depending on the cost of the car.

When entering the Vinyls menu, all official vinyls are removed. To restore the official default liveries and vinyls, enter the Paint menu, and select one of the Official paint jobs.
RIMS[]
Players can switch the rims for all cars which have the rims customization option. Fictional rims become free when the car is fully upgraded. Licensed rims are always free when owned, and do not have to be purchased for each car individually.

Rims[]
In Formula E 2022 Update (v10.4) Firemonkeys started to make licensed rims available once the player earned enough 
in its respective round. Unlike the fictional rims, once collected, these rims are free to use for all cars which have the rims customization option, regardless of whether the car is fully upgraded or not.
From current knowledge, it would seem that the option to collect the rims becomes unavailable once the round they could be won from expires. It is currently unknown whether they'll become available in another future round or not. Players who own the rims in question will be able to keep using them for all intended purposes.
The following rims have been available with enough collected:

- HRE (2 Rims; RS 106, 935, 305M) - Earn VP
- fifteen52 (2 Rims; 3-Piece Forged Tarmac F40, FORMULA 2PC) - Earn VP
